Changing Filaments on the Ender 3

To change the filament turn the dial and select control.



Select Temperature



Select "Nozzel Temperature" and increase the temperature to the maximum.



Once over 200 (first set of numbers is current/target)



The filament should start dripping from the extruder.



Once it does squeeze the lever on the back of the print head



And pull gently on the filament.



Replace the filament reel.



and feed the new filament into the small brass hole, while squeezing the lever on the back of the print head.



Keep feeding the filament until it starts coming through the extruder.

You can now lower the nozzel temeperature and start a new print
