In order to reduce the amount of spam messages you get through your contact forms you can add Google's reCAPTCHA services. This free tool adds a "I'm not a robot" box to your forms, to make it harder for bots to fill them in.

Learn more and sign up at at https://www.google.com/recaptcha/about/

Once you have an account click [v3 Admin Console] at the top of the page.

Click the [+] in the top right corner to add a new site

Fill in the form making sure to select "Challenge (v2) from the reCAPTCHA type

Once you submit the form you will be given two codes, a site key and secret key. Put these somewhere safe as you will need them in a few minutes.

Now return to your website and navigate to [Forms] [Settings] then click "reCAPTCHA"

Enter your codes and select "Checkbox"

Complete the CAPTCHA and then click [Save Settings]

Now navigate to your form and add a CAPTCHA from the "Advance Fields Section" and save your form.

Your form will now have a Google reCAPTCHA that needs to be completed before it can be submitted.
