Getting Rid Of Comment Spam

If you do not use the WordPress comments system you can still be inundated with comment spam if the default "Hello World" post still exists. Follow the instructions below to delete the post and stop further comment spam.

1. Navigate to https://yourwebdomain.co.uk/wp-admin

2. Click "Posts"

3. Click "Bin"

4. Click "Discussion"

5. Click the "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" field.

6. Click the "Allow people to submit comments on new posts" field.

7. Click this button.
